Tom Vosper

Tom is a visionary leader with a keen ability to leverage opportunities that result in increased support and interest for the causes he supports.  His success is achieved by building strong relationships, connecting people to organizations and engaging those already closest to do more.

Tom joined the Don Cherry Pet Rescue Foundation to give animals a voice and to make a difference in their lives. Much of what pets experience, good or bad, is as a result of their interactions with people. That means we are all responsible for making the life of pets better.

Further adding to the intrigue of joining the Don Cherry Pet Rescue Foundation is the fact that Tom grew up in Kingston, ON, playing hockey at a young age with some of Kingston’s NHL elite and, although a stretch, Tom can honestly say that he went to the same high school as Don Cherry – Kingston Collegiate (Vocational) Institute.

Tom’s daughters are passionate about animal welfare and in fact, one wants to become a veterinarian. Tom’s experience working with nonprofits and skills as a fundraiser, his insights to the hockey world and passion for animal welfare and the environment, will add great value to the Don Cherry’s Pet Rescue Foundation board.
