Patrice M. Whiffen

Commitment, passion and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind Patrice Whiffen’s career thus far. As cliché as it may sound, Patrice embodies the motto that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. Patrice lives and breathes marketing, promotions and event management and has an extensive amount of experience within the sporting and entertainment industries.

 

Patrice earned an Honours Specialization Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information and Technoculture at The University of Western Ontario. While in school, Patrice worked for Rogers TV and for Astral Radio as a sports anchor, radio host, producer and promotions assistant. From there she continued to work in media for Blackburn Radio Inc., Durham Radio Inc. and Corus Entertainment.

 

Patrice then became the Director of Marketing, Media and Events for PrimeTime Sports and Entertainment and Exsportise Marketing, where she continues to work on their Annual Sports Management Conference and The GTHL Legacy Classic Golf Tournament.

 

In 2011, Patrice was hired by the Toronto Maple Leafs to assist in their Game Operations and Special Events Department. She continues to work with the Toronto Maple Leafs, in addition to maintaining her role with PrimeTime Sports and Entertainment. Patrice also has the privilege of working for Lucknow’s Music In The Fields, and the Boots and Hearts Music Festival, where she holds a sponsorship, marketing or event management role.

 

Patrice was honoured to have the opportunity to work as one of the event coordinators for the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup in London, Ontario where she was in charge of the Fan Fest, and charitable fundraising events.

 

Patrice has also done work for NFL Canada, the Country Music Association of Ontario and the Canadian Football League.

 

Patrice is a multi-media marketing executive and event manager for various clients in the sports and entertainment industries. When she is not working, Patrice loves spending time with her family, friends and rescue dog, Nat. She enjoys attending concerts, and sporting events of all kinds. She also enjoys being a Board Member for Don Cherry’s Pet Rescue Foundation, and on the Steering Committee for the MLSE Team Up Challenge in Support of Camp Trillium.
