Pictured here is just some of the dedicated volunteers throughout Nova Scotia of this independent, self-governed, all-breed rescue organization.

This all-breed rescue was established in 2007 and in that time has rescued over 4000 animals.  Entirely run by  volunteers, their only means of funding is events & grants like the one they received from us.  Our donated money was to assist in the recovery of 4 month old Sierra, pictured below.

Flown in from Northern Labrador with her leg obviously very injured, it took daily vet care with pain meds, laser treatments, antibiotics, and daily bandage changes to give her a fighting chance of  survival.
