Bullies Without Borders.
Fundraising Donation | Article by: Cindy Cherry
I met Suzi, at an all-breed rescue event I was attending years ago. Of course I gravitated to her when I saw her focus was on the Cherry’s breed of dog, of choice, the English Bull Terrier. Who knew “Blue’s” type needed rescuing, but it just goes to show you, no breed is beyond needing a rescue group as seen by these photos. We have included the before & after pictures of one of her dogs, Willy. Suzi’s dedication is reflected in the passage below:
“My name is Suz and I am very proud to be a part of Bullies Without Borders. Raising money to help rescue bullies is very near and dear to my heart as I am a mom to 3 rescues. Kyra is almost 11yrs old, Willy is 3yrs old and the newest addition Ginger (aka Punkin) is almost 3yrs old now.
I express my love and passion for bullies through my artwork in various mediums and the sale of some of my work supports Bull Terrier rescues. I am very proud of the work that our collective group have done in their tireless effort to raise rescue funds with a simple mandate…love of the breed and even more for the ones in need. Got Bull Terrier? We do!! – Susan Flisowski”

Willy the pup- not a happy fellow, you can see that same expression in most newly rescued dogs. I call it a soulful look that needs compassion
Gogo, a Bull Terrier rescued from a South Korean Dog Meat Farm. It took more than a village to get Gogo to where she is today. Remember, without organizations like Bullies without Borders, this beautiful dog would have been dinner If you didn’t know better you may wonder if this picture was photo shopped to make a point about, that no dog breed is safe from the dog meat trade. .
