Many cat rescue groups use foster homes to house society’s unwanted cats, surprisingly they have their own shelter exclusively for cats.  With a “no kill” policy, the process of getting them into “adoptable” condition, meaning healthy, is only part of their challenge.  Then they have to get them to transform into “respectable” pets.  This is accomplished by a no cage policy unique to this organization.

This gives the kitties an opportunity to romp and play, which in turn teaches them to play nice with others, whether animal or humans.  In turn they get to experience a life style that is close to the home life in their For Ever Home.  You can only imagine how much a facility like this costs to run.  So when we here at Don Cherry’s Pet Rescue Foundation and a chance to donate to one of their fundraising events, we were there for them.  Will you be?
